Results of u/s and serious question for you moms
also wanted to add, when my mother was pregnant with me they told her I DID have DS and then asked her if she wanted an abortion, that she could go right next door and get one. She refused and thank goodness she did, or else she would have aborted a perfectly healthy baby!

Thank you ladies for the reassurance an dkind words. I have searched the internet like crazy and have found a few things..
1. A nasal bone would not be present at 12 weeks and not now..so since even I can see it is there
2. This is only a soft marker (yes a harder of the soft ones but still soft) and it is still very controversial
3. This is a prominent problem in babies of African American and Asian decent
4. Did I mention this is controversial and when is the only soft marker is usually wrong
With that said. Since my nuchal test came back great along with blood work and at this u/s that was the only problem...I've concluded there isnt much to worry about. Especially since all the things that would actually cause a problem in a downs baby are fine (heart showed good, brain was great, and kidneys were normal), even if she is downs she will be on the very mild side. Also, I have posted this question on all the baby boards I am a part of and apparently this is more common than the research makes its seem (as it is still new and seemingly controversial) and I only found a couple of cases where it was valid..and they had other bigger signs as well. So I am not going to worry unless they find anything else when I go back in a week.
