This year on Thanksgiving make sure you give your family an extra hug and tell them how much you love them.  Life and death happen so fast....

Life:

A  year ago today was my first "real" ultrasound (external).  It was our first trimester screening where we found out the results of the blood work / ultrasound and risks of major genetic diseases, etc.

It was the first time my husband got to see Cooper and he LOVED it.

Death:

It was also a year ago that my grandfather died -- without knowing I was pregnant. He died suddenly (his car wa**** by a train).  We were waiting to announce until after the ultrasound. I wish I had gotten a chance to tell him while he was alive.

I believe my grandpa (who was 91 years old) is Cooper's angel and I am thankful for that.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Everyone !!!

It it bittersweet.  Life is too precious.  You never know when you won't have that next moment so you have to savor them when you can.

Isn't it amazing the difference a year makes!  On a more humorous note, at least I don't see a middle finger up in this picture!!!

Love it!

Happy thanksgiving!

My husbands grandmother or "gram" died 3 weeks before we found out we were preggo.  She never go to know she was going to be a great grandma.  At her funeral we were TTC and the pastor said, "A life leaves this earth so a new life can begin" and that's the month we got pregnant.  I feel she had something to do with it!

Oh, you made me cry! That is true that you never know how much time you have with a loved one, and so we need to enjoy the moments we have.

Im sure its the hormones, but  this brought tears to my eyes... It is so crazy how life can change in the blink of an eye. Thanks for reminding me how much I have to be thankful for!

How tragic he lived to be 91 and died from such a horrible accident. :-( Cooper is blessed to have an angel like your grandpa looking over him.

Just last night I saw the 1st ultrasound of Josiah on his dresser and walked out to see his chubby little face sitting on the couch with his dad and was in awe. How they can go from a little bean to a beautiful healthy baby.

Happy Thanksgiving...
