URRRRRR!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!
Well I had a horrible night of sleep last night and now i know why. Craig came home from PT this morning( he is in the Army) and said "Babe". As soon as I heard those words I knew what was coming next. He's been to Iraq for a year and half and got back Dec '07. He is deploying in April he finds out tomorrow where to. Urrr,,, Isabella is due Jan 5th. So at least he will get to see her born but them he will miss her first everything. I am trying to stay positive b/c at least he will be here for the birth. So there's my rant today. UUUUUUURRRRRRRR!!!
I had my 34 weeks appt. today and everything is going GREAT!!

At least everything is going well in your pregnancy.
I completely understand your rant. Except in my case it is me that will be deploying. Right now they are still up in the air as to whether it is OCT 2010 or Oct 2011, but either way we know it's coming. I am actually hoping for 2010. I would rather leave her when she is 8 months old and won't really remember, than leave her when she is a year and 8 months old.
I wish you and your soldier the best. I know it sucks, but I thank him for his service and all he is doing for this country.
Oh noooo! That is so sad! You are so strong! I don't know how military wives do it?! My husband is also leaving for the road in June and I am freaking out about that. His band is going on a small U.S. tour. I don't know how it would be if he were going to the middle east! I can't even fathom it! I dated someone who was in Afghanistan for part of our relationship. He down played it for me but wow. It was very hard! I pray that he is safe and you get thru it!

I feel for you. I keep checking "the list" online to see if dh's unit has shown up yet...
He deployed in May '07 when Kaida was 5 months old and Jordan was a little over 2 years old. he came back in June '08...he missed her first everything as well except crawling...sort of. he was gone a lot just before they left so he technically didn't see her first crawl but like her 4th. lol
so big hugs...I've been in those shoes and I hope like crazy I'm not again any time soon but like you wrote...it could be tomorrow that he comes home with "babe" to me too.

Mandy, Mom to Jordan (5), Kaida (3) and Luken (born 12/5/09) Army wife! HW:351 / SW: 328 / CW:149/ Goal weight...what is that?
I can only imagine what you are going through... my husband was in the Navy and got out not too long ago. His best friend left for 8 months when his daughter was 3 weeks old. It was one of the hardest things he went through. He did miss a lot of her firsts BUT... he said it would be much harder if she was older and was glad to go when she was so little.
