So when I first found out I was calm, I kept telling myself what happens will happen and that realisticly there isn't anything I can really do to prevent a miscarriage from happening again...

well, my first ultrasound is coming up  (it is next week - I will be 6 weeks 2 days) and the fear is setting in....

I am once again a complete worry wart - Beth knows what I am saying....

Pray I don't lose my mind....

Thanks for listening :)

I understand the worrying- I've never had a miscarriage although I have had bleeding early on and thought I was miscarrying with both of my pregnancies, so I am constantly worrying too! I find myself getting really nervous just before every appt I have had, and since I have twins this time I've had a few extras! I know it's tough, but hang in there.

Hi Dawn!

I don't think there is a thing we can do to not worry.  I was sooo calm and happy in the beginning, then it turned to anxiety.  I get nervous every single time I have a Dr. appt thinking there will be no heartbeat anymore.  And you're right, we are unfortunately completely helpless when it comes to our pregnancies in the beginning.

From one worry wart to another!

I've been gone and didn't know you were pregnant again!  First, congrats!  And second, I'll say a prayer for your little bean!  Oh, and your mind.  ;-)

Having BTDT myself...several times over...I understand what you're going through.  Nothing any of us can say will ease the worry until you're to a point in your pregnancy where you're comfortable with it and confident things are going well...whether that's when you see the heartbeat or feel your little one kicking the crap out of your insides.  Just take it one day at a time, and keep your mind busy so you don't have time to obsess about it...and we'll pray that everything turns out fine at your appointment.

I am a huge worry wart too. I hope you can relax until your appointment, as much as possible and I hope it all goes well!
