NST Appointment

I had my first NST this morning (and will now have one once a wee****il Cricket arrives).  I have a nice healthy baby growing.

My BP was 98/60 and I lost a pound.   I have no doubt that I will gain it back plus 5 during Thanksgiving.  LOL

I'm starting to go into panic mode because I still have stuff I need to buy.   People think that because I have twins, that I automatically have everything.   Nope, doesn't work that way.   Hopefully they will have some fantastic deals online starting on Friday.

Time closes in quickly. Hope you don't stress over it too much. I can always look for deals for you................... if you want. LOL

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I keep my stress under control by adding a few things in the shopping cart for myself.  Works every time.   LMAO

I"m glad everything is going well.   I'm in panic mood myself.. so much to do and so little time. :)

Question.... just curious about these NST's I hear so much about.   I don't think I've ever had one and I'm wondering why that is.   Why do you need them once a week?
Just wondering.    Thanks,
Suzy

It's standard.   They start giving them to everyone towards the end of pregnancy.   Basically you are strapped to a little belly monitor for about 30 minutes.   They just measure the heart rate of the baby and want to see that the baby is active, etc.

Suzy,
My OB dosen't schedule NST unless you are high risk or over due. I was over due but went into labor the day before it was scheduled so I never did it either.

Oh gosh I had to chime in here. First off glad your appt. was great! And so I was at Target this weekend and they had a beautiful travel system (car seat and stroller) that was originally $159 for $40 bucks!! I wanted to buy it, but then thought what the heck do I need it for?!? But then I thought about it all night and morning why I didn't buy it. Then I told myself YOU DO NOT NEED IT! I guess that goes with that saying about buying something you dont need at all just because its on sale.
