FRIDAY TTC POST (who is making a baby?)

So... I missed a couple weeks of the post and was barely online to check up on you girls. Please forgive me for missing a bunch of stuff. Looking forward to your updates.

First a huge congrats to Sherry-Lynn and Dawn with wishes for a happy and healthy nine months! I love graduating you girls to the baking mamas post! (I hope I didn't miss any bfp posts in the past 2 weeks...let me know okay??) And to Lisa... I did see your posts about hubby and you are totally in my prayers. Keep me posted okay and I am a pm away to all of you girls if you need to chat.

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

I guess you can add me back. I will be taking a couple months off TTC. As soon as I get some blood tests and everything gets back to normal we will try one more time. I don't know if I can mentally handle another loss. So lets pray the third time is the charm.

First off congrats on Micah!  He is just gorgeous!  Sorry things were difficult again. 

As for me I am on CD12.  No meds.  I have a large cycst on my ovary that has been there for the last two cycles.  The doctor said that if it is still there next month we will have to talk about surgery.  I am not sure if I will still ovulate with the cycst, but we are doing our own thing this month anyways just in case. 

Cross your fingers that the cycst is gone next month!

CD 4 today.  We'll try the IUI again this month before our big move...then don't know if we'll be on our own for a bit or what...because I'll have to find a fertility place there in Sofia.  I'll just 'stock up' on the drugs (estrogen/progesterone and Femara) before I leave Indonesia.

Congrats to Sherry Lynn, Dawn, Kim and Jennifer - and anyone else I may have missed out there.

As of yesterday's blood work I am not offically not pregnant. So, I have finally gotten rid of the pregnancy hormone after twins (one ectopic and other not). Now, I just have to wait for my next cycle to start and then I will have the HSG to check my tubes.
