I put Alex in his walker or high chair when I'm going to be working in the kitchen for a while.

Jeep Liberty Renegade Walker - Kolcraft - Babies

He can't reach the ground yet in the walker so he just sits and plays with the toys I've hung off of it.  I'm hoping to pick him up a jumperoo over black friday.

I saw the picture you posted of Alex in his walker and almost asked you about it then !!

I didn't realize they made walkers any more!  (And this one is so cute!)

We got a jumperoo at the "Once Upon A Child" (used store) brand new looking in the box for $8 !!

Hope you find something good on Black Friday and thank you!

Duh!  I do have a Bumbo tray.... I don't often use it because it's a pain to put on, but I guess that would work since he couldn't arch his back and pop himself out then!

Thanks!

you are so right about it being hard to get on and off but for a lil one like him, he wont be able to get it off for maybe another month or 2 to buy you some time, lol

My Nylah loved and my Vannah loves the exersaucer, someone gave it to me but I seen it at Babies R Us for $129 but it is fabulous. Actually Nylah got in it the other night but she is way too big so she was just standing in it saying "out". LOL I said you don't get in there its for the baby and she said "ya" like she knows she wasnt suppose but it was the cutest thing ever. I remember once when Nylah was probably Coopers age I put her down on the floor at daycare in the kitchen and she hit her head hard I felt so bad but we had thought she had sitting up down pat.

Yah - Cooper bonked his head pretty hard on the wood floor because I figured he wouldn't fall down - I didn't count on him throwing himself backwards in glee....and I felt so bad !!

I meant to ask you about the car seat from your post the other day ---  did you mean the upper buckles on the carseat have to be up higher?  (You said between his shoulder blades?)  I want to make sure it's right!!

Thank you!

Yes. The seat belt clip should be between the shoudler blades. I don't know why but I always notice that first about car seats.

Try an exersaucer.  Since he can hold his head up he can exercise his little legs, you can move it easily from room to room and they come with toys that are connected to the seat so he can't throw them all over the floor.  We had one with my 18 month old that was on stationary legs with a tray that was attached with bungee cords for the feet so he could jump up and down and the seat twists around so he could spin himself around and look wherever he wanted.  He loved that thing even when he started walking because he would use it to steady himself and he would walk in circles around it and could still play with the toys on it.
