Hello and good morning.
Just curious...

I know before I was pregnant we weren't supposed to drink and eat at the same time. I have totally got used to do that after about 2 years. Anyway, does that "rule" change because of pregnancy? Should we still not eat and drink at the same time or does that even matter anymore?

I get so thirsty while eating and right after....

Hey girl. Only recently do I sometimes drink with my food. If it's something that will go down easy like veggies or starch but not my meat, I still get sick and throw up if I drink when I eat meat. Too dense. I've only started this cause now that my stomach is getting so compressed by the baby I am actually losing weigt at an aarming rate cause I can only eat about half of what I was eating before, so drinking a little bit helps me fit more in.

I have the same problem , i always drank while eating, so I stil strugle with that, the reason why ur not supposed to drink while eating is because they liquid will wash down the proteins and vitamins and minerals  from the food, the good stuff thats suposed to stay in ur stomach, but i also think its because the food plus the liquid might stretch ur lil pouch.

good luck sweetie, and congrats!!!

I was told by my Nut to not start drinking while eating even tho I'm pregnant. Continue waiting 30min b4, during, and 30min after your meals because if you start drinking it pushes the food thru and can stretch out your port (I think it's called) which will then allow you to eat more and more and can turn into a vicious cycle.

I have a band not RNY, but my NUT told me to follow the same rules as always even while pregnant. Push the protine first, then carbs and no drinking while eating.
