For all you who's babies are measuring big

I had a 33 week u/s yesterday to make sure my baby girl is growing properly. She is measuring 34 wks and 6 days and 5 lbs. My EDD got bumped up a week. My question is am I still 33 weeks even if the baby is measuring almost 2 weeks ahead? When did you go into labor the original EDD or the new one? I know she will come when she wants but just wondering.
Thanks
Jessica

I'm not nearly as far along as you but my OB said that they won't move my date again. They judge the due date by the 10 week ultrasound. He told me that after that babies grow at their own pace. At my 8 week ultrasound they moved my due date from 5/24 to 5/21. At the last appt I was measuring another 4 days ahead. I'm starting to think that I am going to have a big baby! lol

My baby always measured HUGE! He was a decent size 9lbs 4 oz and 23 inches. He was just a big baby. I went 8 days over. My Dr. never induced based on size. Some babies are just big :)
He was measuring big but my belly was measuring HUGE...I always measured 6 weeks bigger on my belly!

The ultrasound technician told me that even though mine have measured at least a week ahead from the 7 week ultrasound on, they usually go by the earlier ultrasounds because they are the most reliable with size.  Mine are measuring about two weeks ahead as of the ultrasound a month ago.  My next ultrasound for size and weight of babies is Friday.  They haven't changed my due date once.

I heard that if a new date is within a week from the last they usually dont change it... some babies just run big... my daughter was a big baby as well she was 8lb 12.9 oz and almost 2 weeks late. my date changed 3 times with the twins and I know there gonna come sooner then that but like u said the baby will come when she is ready... :)

My last growth scan was October 30th and Bryder was measuring 5lbs. 3 oz and they said he was measuring 2 days smaller than my due date.  I go this Friday for my last growth scan before we induce labor on December 2nd.

My babies have always been a little behind- not alarmingly so, but always smaller than they really were. And since we had to do IUI everytime, we know when they were conceived. I think a lot of it has to do with genetics. My hsuband is Hispanic and so his family is smaller than mine- lucky him! I wouldn't be too worried. My little brother measured relaly big and was bron at over 9 pounds, three weeks early. I think it all depends! Good luck though.

Rowan kept measuring ahead as well, and my OB was a little concerned and said that if nothng had happened by my due date, that we would probably need to talk about inducing. That didn't happen since my water broke 4 days before my due date and Rowan came out at 8lbs, 4 oz, so he wasn't as big as they were thinking he was! It seems like those estimates are pretty inaccurate!
