VSG - I'm not the only one. . .am I?!
I just feel so alone on the VSG end here. I know there are more RNYers than there are VSGers but on this board it seems even more obvious and I feel so alone. I was hoping for a couple other VSGers because I really want to know what to expect.
There has to be at least one more VSGer, right?!

Hey Sephia,
We are TTC and I knew I would be as soon as I got close to/at goal (and flamers feel free to say what you like, you'll be ignored) and so I've researched for a while. Here's an awesome site a found a while ago, it's in reverse order (1st post is newest) but there are a couple sleevers who detail their pregnancies. It gave me a good idea of what to expect being a pg sleever. Hopefully (though I'm not holding my breath, we've been TTC for 7 years barring the 1st 7 months post op) I'll be joining you soon :)

I DID Make It - 135.4 8-1-10! Now working on post baby weight loss. (All WL post-op - preop got up to 220 from quitting smoking & last supper syndrome.) 5'2"
Here's a definition from Urban Dictionary:
A person who, on a message forum of some type, attacks and flames other members of the forum for any of a number of reasons. A real Flamer usually attacks threads because he/she disagrees with the content of the thread or the lack thereof. The difference between a Flamer and somebody who merely disagrees is that a flamer is inappropriate in their responses.
I have no problem with people not agreeing but a few of the comments I've seen cross into the inappropriate category, hence the flamer comment. :)

LOL nope, not referring to a gay person though I do know a few who use the term about themselves!
No, I haven't received that treatment but someone recently was told off for TTC 4 months post op. I'm beyond that and basically at goal but I'm sure I would offend some people by not being 12 months or more out. Most posters here that I've seen so far are quite friendly and welcoming though.
Congratulations on no more DNR by the way :)

You aren't the only one, no. But there are definitely more RNY'ers than anything else here. Here is a link to a post I replied to on the VSG board a couple weeks ago!

Ha ha ha, I'm not, but there are some women on here who think TTC before a minimum of 12 months is tantamount to child abuse. A VSGer posted a week or 2 ago how she was TTC with both her OB's and surgeon's permission and blessing quite a while before her 1st anniversary and after the tongue lashing she got (how it was awful, her doctor should be charged with malpractice, and so on) it's not surprising that she hasn't been back. Frankly, I could give a **** what the flamers think. They've all got their own issues - and before starting a war, I'll leave it at that. I take what I need and leave the rest aside and try and help if I can.
Hope that Australian board thread helps ya!
