Those who have had swine flu....

How sudden was the onset?  I was sitting on the toilet tonight having diarrhea suddenly and then suddenly I started coughing something terrible.  Now very suddenly one side of my nose is stuffed up and I am getting a headache.  I also had a sudden bout of eye itchiness followed by feeling like there was sand in my eyes.  Then they felt a little gooey.  When I say sudden for all this I have to say it really truly was.  Felt fine one second and then all of these consecutive things.  All I was doing after the bathroom was sitting in bed watching TV with my husband.  Does this sound like anything anyone has experianced before?

I know here in Michigan, the sudden change in weather has people sniffling and headaches more common.

My husband had the flu last week and I believe I had a mild case of something. With both my husband and I it came on really sudden. He had fever, chills, aches, cough. He still isn't 100% better, sleeping a lot.

Hopefully it is just the weather change.

I hope so.  The stuffies seem to be getting a bit better, the tummy not so much.  I do still have a headache.  Man whatever I did I am not doing that again, I just wish I knew what it was!

Sounds like me for the last few days but I don't think it is the flu... I have had both vax.   Hope we both get to feeling better.

 It started off with cold like symptoms, a cough and fatigue. Then on the third day, fatigue and body aches. I spiked a fever that night. I was in bed for a week and you want to cry because you hurt so bad and feel so miserable.  Oh, and I was very short of breath. I ended up on atibiotics and inhalers. It took two full weeks for complete recovery.
