Why don't I look pregnant?! My jeans still fit and I haven't really gained yet (still 3lbs below pregnancy start weight). I'm 17 weeks... when am I going to start showing?!? I saw the baby bump post and there's two other mommies just as far as I am. It's clear that they are showing.
Me... I just look like I packed a few pounds on my gut. Some clothes make it look like I'm pregnant but when I look in the mirror naked, I just look fatter. Above my navel is getting firm but HELLO the baby is below the navel and it's still not firm at all.
I'm just irritated and sick of being in this "fat or pregnant" phase. When I wear my regular clothes, I look the same as I did pre-prego except just a little more fat looking around the middle.
Please tell me that my midsection is going to get rounder in the next couple of weeks. I'd really like to start getting the whole "you're pregnant, every stranger you bump into is nice to you" thing going.... because right now I've just got the whole "you're a fat chick, people pretend you don't exist and no one holds the elevator for you" thing going.

I completely know how you are feeling!! To this day no one has asked me the famous question "When are you due?" because I'm sure they are afraid I am not pregnant and just fat and they don't want to get it wrong. It really sucks because I am freaking 34 weeks now!! Maternity clothes REALLY help so maybe in a few weeks you could try that out. I'm sure you will really start to show within the next 5-10 weeks. Hopefully sooner for your sake! I hate just feeling fatter to the rest of the world when you know that you are growing a human inside of you! LOL!

It'll happen, usually overnight! In the meantime, wear things that you avoided wearing before because they made you look pregnant!
Also, as much as you WANT people to notice now - you'll be just as annoyed at them when they finally do!!

I feel your pain. I was sooo sick of the pudgy look instead of pregnant look. It is so frustrating. However, like a previous mentioned, you pop like overnight. I was just complaining to a friend about it like a week ago and over thhe weekend I was out shopping for a black dress with her. When I took off my top she said something like wowerz, look at that little one...thats def a boy cause its low lol. I thought I was poking out a little more but it is only noticable if I am wearing a clingy shirt or hoodie.

I'm 27 weeks and I'm still wearing my normal clothes most of the time. I never really looked pregnant with Hannah unless I wore certain shirts. I thought maybe with the second pregnancy that I would look pregnant, but not the case. Just remember in the long run we still have our beautiful babies whether or not one stranger knew we were pregnant. You may "pop" soon though!
