Finally got hubby to remember to bring camera to the hospital.  Here is the babies bump for 23 weeks, last Wednesday.  Sorry about the lovely hospital gown but there is no fashion in the joint LOL.

Now that is a bump! You look great and very stylish :)  You are just waiting for the trend to catch up. At least it is more stylish that our hospital gowns (i work at a hospital).

I hope you are doing well and hanging in there. Will you have to be in the hospital for the remainder of your pregnancy?

Beautiful baby bump!  I can't even imagine carrying 3 at once.  I hope the time between now and the 'viability' date pass quickly....you're almost there.  And I agree w/Traci, the hospital gowns here are very fugly.

Thanks for sharing and continued prayers,

Jo

Thank you everyone.  I was taken off of procardia due to very low blood pressure ans side effects.  Last night Istarted contracting again, sigh*.  I was given more terb and some smaller doses of procardia and eventually some ambien hoping that sleep would help stop them.  I slept until 4 a.m. when I was awoken by contractions.  They ordered an ultrasound to check my cervix which hasn't changed one iota since November 3rd, good news.  So they decided to give pain meds, which did nothing and a couple of liters through an IV to make sure I wasn't dehydrated and I contracted for eleven hours and they finally petered out.  I am here until delivery.  The doctors have decided that they will just let me contract until my cervix starts to change, then they will try other meds to stop the contractions.  Other than that I have to just try and deal with some pain meds.  wheee.  This pregnancy is starting to look indefinite.  At least the babies are still safe and sound and still baking which is the important part.  The paranatologist was telling me today that the statistics for the NICU here for 24 weeks is 30% mortality, 30% chance of long term disabilities.  They are good for the nation but still not great odds.  If I can make it four more weeks the chances of survival are up to 90%, they have a better percentage at this NICU than the national average so once I make 24 weeks at midnight my next goal is 28 weeks.  Keep sending good thoughts!

Just keep taking it one day at a time and, God willing, before you know it, you'll be at 28 weeks.

Sorry the contractions are still coming...but at least the cervix isn't changing, which is great news.  Four more weeks would put you in to right before Christmas...and hopefully you'll continue baking on into the new year.  The triple tax deduction would be good...but not as good as saving it for next year.

Thanks for the picture.  It's amazing to think there are three babies growing in there, huh?
