I am 5 months old today !! (picture heavy)

I was so happy to find out I am five months old today!  But mom says I am a very very happy baby anyway. 




I got a brand new big-boy car seat and to go for a ride !!





And to visit the hardware store for the first time.  Now I am a real man !! 




My mom says that for a treat I might even get to have some green beans.  I think that sounds like a good plan since I like Kermit and he's green !! 

Now I know I should roll over so my mommy stops bugging me about it -- but I really prefer to sit up which I do so well now I don't even fall backwards or sideways and can see the TV and reach all my toys.  To roll over I have to be laying down and I hate laying down ! 

I can also take out my "suckie" (pacifier) all by myself, but I can't quite figure out how to get it back into my mouth the right way.  I wear 9month- 12 month clothes and weigh over 20lbs. 

I put EVERYTHING in my mouth - even my fuzzy dog Ivy !!  (and her toys) 

I can even say ma-ma-ma sometimes when I'm not eating things. 

My mom has forbid me to grow any bigger or to change.  She says she loves me just the way I am.

Cooper - you are just the cutest little thing!! I agree with your Mommy - stay just the way you are! Of course rolling over would be a good thing but you'll get there when you are ready. Tell your Mommy that maybe if you learn you are going to be a big brother you'll do it.

Also tell your Mommy to keep the photos coming!

He is too cute!  He always looks like a happy boy and you take great pics!! And I must say he looks way older than 5 months!!

Cooper, tell your mommy that dog toys are the best!  If it's good enough for the dog...it good enough for us!  (My mom even bought be a squeaky dog toy once because I thought it was the funniest thing in the world!!)  I spend more time digging out the dog toys from their basket then I do my own!

 Dear Cooper,

My mommy is always going on about some other adorable little boy on this website thing she sees on the interweb or something like that.  So I had to see for myself.  Don't think I'm checking ya out or anything... but I have to admit... you are super duper cute.  Mommy says you have the most adorable dimples and are always happy.  She thinks that we should be friends because I'm super happy all the time too.  I don't know what the big deal is about being happy.  I get fed and cuddled and loved so what more can a guy ask for, right?  

You have a doggy?!  That is so cool, man!  I only have 2 cats and my mom says they aren't very friendly.  They don't even come check me out or anything, just mind their own business.  

You've gotta show me this sitting up thing.  It would be soo much easier to reach my toys and stuff.  Though, I'm just learning what toys are and I can barely reach out to them, but I'm learning!

Anyways, dude... Nice to finally meet the other baby my mom is always gushing about.

I love how your Mommy introduced you to the toilet concept early (note the toilets in the background).  You are so advanced that I bet you'll be potty training before you're 2 years old.

Happy 5 month Mr. Cooper, you are such a doll!

Just a little note, move the car seat belt up it is suppose to be positioned between the shoulders. Sorry I am such a stickler on that one but safety is my #1!
