Holy Moley!

After several years of wanting a baby, and opting to have surgery to lose the weight so I can have a baby....

I found out friday by a HPT that IM PREGNANT!!! 

Yes, Im still early post op, I HAVE been cleared by my surgeon. And I will have an entire team of folks to help me along the way with any medical concerns.

I am so freakin excited, and I just wanted to share it with all of you!!

I have my first OB appointment Tuesday 11/24/09 and the EDD is 7/9/10!!

I'm 6½ mo post op and am due July 21st!

I should be seeing my bariatric doctor sometime this week. They are calling me Monday to set things up.

This wil be baby #8 for me, but it was a complete surprise.

Yay congrats! I, too, had surgery so that I could have a baby! It's so exciting!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!  I am so excited for you!  I hope one day I can say the same thing!  My husband and I have been married almost 9 yrs and have wanted a baby for 7 of them.  This is the primary reason I had surgery too!  Best wishes for a wonderful pregnancy!

I just found out I am pregnant with my second post op baby!  It's so exciting!

Thanks everyone!  I am so excited, scared, worried, happy, giddy....omg everything!  I went out and bought what to expect when your expecting....and have been reading it like a champ!

I cant wait till tomorrow when the lab calls me to confirm the pregnancy b/c of the blood test!! 
(i took two hpt's so....)

Anyway, I dont know what to do with myself this early.  I guess I should just wait, see the dr and hope that eventually it sinks in that Im gonna be a mommy!!

Congrats Marla~ I'm certain that everything will go great for you and you're in the right place for support!

I had both of mine since my RNY~ 1st one I got pregnant with (while on the ortho-evra) at 7 mos post-op and I got pregnant with the 2nd one when I was 3 1/2 years post-op.  Both kids are wonderful!
