Question about a 19 month old dry heaving?
Just now my daughter was standing in my kitchen dry heaving, I put her on the counter over the kitchen sink cuz I wasnt sure if she was gonna throw up. I gave her a lil lemon lime soda flat and watered down thinking it might help her tummy, she dont have a fever. She has never thrown up before and any time I seen her gag like that was when she stick her fingers in her mouth but she wants doing that this time and I checked to see if there was anything in her mouth... She just drank a cup of milk before and handed me her cup so I went to get her water and then she was gagging like that... She seems fine now idk...lol
Wow. That must've been scary. If you cannot find any real reason as to why this happened...nothing stuck, nothing in her mouth, not sick, she didn't self do...could it have been faked. Like, I think I remember you saying in another post that you have been dry heaving a bit lately (as most of us have been). Has she seen you doing this? I know my nephew since he has seen me do it a couple of times will imitate me and will randomly after he eats run to the kitchen and lean in the garbage and heave (I use the sink but hes too short) lol. My sister tells me he only does it when I am there so I've been making sure now if I get one of those moments I run to the bathroom and run water so he doesn't hear me.

Jus****ch her poop, I know totally gross LOL but she could have put something in her mouth and swallowed it, but it didn't get stuck. My son did this to me once, we took him to the ER because of stomach pain and on the X-ray was a perfectly formed ginger bread man, he had pulled it off of one of my Christmas decorations and swallowed it whole.
