I've asked this before, but it's time to revisit it...

I only had morning sickness at week 7-8.  Then I was fine.  At around week 13 I started actually vomiting, usually only after dinner and nothing really came up except a little bit of food, but the gagging made me feel better.  I'm going to be 17 weeks tomorrow and I vomit about twice a week still.  I was not vomiting early in the pregnancy.

Am I normal????????

Thanks Karen

Seems normal.  I went through bouts of vomiting and when I asked my Dr about it.. he said it was probably the way the baby was positioned and things were starting to get squished.

It is completely normal. I just started getting my morning sickness back.  With my daughter I had it the entire pregnancy.

I got over my "morning sickness" at about 10 weeks but since about 19  weeks I tend to throw up about 2 to 3 times a week. It's usually later in the evening after dinner and my doctor said that since the uterus is now above the belly button it is pitting more pressure on the intestines and when I eat dinner usually for me my biggest meal since I'm usually behing on calories by then it harder for me to digest it, I then end up trowing it up. So I think that this is something more normal for us than say a person who hasn't had WLS.

I know everyone different but I think it is probably normal, with my daughter i hardly got sick. and the past 8 weeks or so with the twins I have been so sick to my stomach mainly if I eat to fast or when I am hungry. I only threw up a few times but all I need to go is gag or dry heave sorry TMI but then I would feel fine it's so odd to me compared to my 1st pregnancy, i think it's because i had her before surgery. Anyway if it bothers you to much call ur Doctor...
