I woke up this morning and on my way in to work (not having anything to eat or drink) I got massive gas pain.  I have take 2 Gas-X (Dr said it's ok) and it is not touching it!  What can I do, how do I get the pain to stop????  HELP!

after my RNY they offered an enema to help with gas... I didn't have the problem but knew many people that took them up on it and said that it helped! I am not sure if that is OK while pregnant or not though,

Feel better!

Rolaids (sodium-free) are okay'd by my OB/Surgeon...and work for me as I get gas pains almost everytime I eat...

GOOD LUCK on easing the pain!

Thanks for the advise guys I will keep it in mind for next time.  Turned out I forced myself to eat something (for some reason that is the only way I can have a BM (TMI sorry)) and after I pooed it seemed to go away.  Weird cause I wasn't constipated or anything.  That was BAD.  Hope it never happens again.

That happened to me a few weeks ago and what helped was to lay on my left side which helped me get rid of the gas. LOL! I didn't need to take anything for it. It corrected itself. I made my husband go watch TV in a different room tho! Haha! The joys of being pregnant I tell ya! Hope you feel better soon!

Do you still have your gall bladder?  I thought that was extremely bad gas pains, but low and behold it was a GB attack?

Nope, got that out about a year ago now but the pain was on par with one of those attacks!

Take a walk. Exercise and movement will help move things along. I feel your pain...Gas pain is the worst.

The Gas-X strips are a lifesaver for me!  That gas pain is no joke and can come on so suddenly.  I keep the strips in my wallet at all times.

Take care...
