15 Weeks and All is Well

So, as usual, my pre-appointment anxiety was not necessary.  Everything looks really good. 

I miss the frequent ultrasounds I had with the RE but I got to hear the heartbeat today with the doppler.  Took her a couple minutes to pin it down because the little monkey wouldn't sit still but then we got to hear it loud and clear.

Also got the results of the NT scan and blood work and that looked great so I've opted not to have CVS or Amnio. 

"BIG" ultrasound is December 11th.  Can't wait...my Mom and sister are planning to come from Colorado for the big day.

Thanks for all the encouragement last night, ladies.

PS... I think I might have felt movement last night but my Chihuahua was laying on me and I couldn't really tell if the movement was coming from her belly or mine!

I'm glad everything went well.   What do you think you are having?   You probably are feeling some movement at this point.   For me it wasn't every day that I would feel it.  I think it depends on how the baby is laying.

I keep thinking it's a boy.  I really wanted a girl in the beginning but now I've warmed considerably to the idea of a boy.  Boys just seem to adore their mommies so much and I like that idea.  Either way I'll be thrilled...I just want to know so I can start buying stuff!

YAY!!!!  Told ya....LOL.  I am so jealous.  My 'BIG' ultrasound at the doc's office isn't until Jan.  I go back on Dec 7th, but they won't do it then.  BUT...the hubby and I decided to go to babywaves and get it done there on November 20th, so if baby cooperates we can put an end to our disagreement...LOL.  I just KNOW its a girl...and he just KNOWS its a boy.  I want a girl, but I really could care less...I just want the baby to be healthy and happy.

Congrats on the great appt...and the movement.  I bet it was the baby! 

They have a couple of those 3D/4D places here but if my Mom's going to make the trip I guess I'll wait.  It's really tempting to go take a peek early tho!

Sounds like a great appointment! Do you have a feeling one way or the other on the sex? 

I keep thinking boy but I really don't know.  I'm happy either way, now.
