Getting Frustrated Here People,

This is the third time  The first due date was 05.07.10 second was 04.29.10 the third is 05.05.10. I could do a positive take-away and that would be that all of those dates are within 1 week of each other but I am getting so sick of this. Yes I know that the baby may not come on a given due date but when ready but still I think its fair for me to have one date that will stick like most other preggo women. This sh*t is making my blood boil! Sorry for being so nasty.. just pissed off and have been for the past 2 days about it and needed to vent.

My OB never changed my due date as long as they were within 4 days of the original.. And he went off the first ultrasound that I had at just after 7 weeks.  The earlier the ultrasound the more accurate the date.

With Hannah my due date changed quite a bit, but all in the first trimester.   By my period it was 2-25.  By the first ultrasound it was 2-28.  The next ultrasound  said I was  due 3-5.  Then they changed it back to 2-25.   My water broke 2-12 and Miss Hannah made her grand appearance the next day.   Hang in there...I know it's frustrating!

I would just go off of the 1st date they gave you because like you said there is only a 5% chance your baby will be born on that day anyway. It's just a date to give everyone an "idea" of when the baby is coming. I have a dd of 12/25 but from my 30wk ultrasound they said my estimated dd is now 12/11 give or take 17 days! Haha OOK?! So yeah I don't thinks it's something you should get too upset about but maybe mention it at your next appt to see why the changes to give you a little peace of mind.

so sorry to hear that they are doing that to you!! When I saw the HR OB he told me that the most correct ultrasounds are the ones done between 8-10 weeks, they are the most accurate because after then the babies grow at their own rates. Mine was only changed once (so far lol) from 5/24 to 5/21. 5/24 was based on my LMP and th 21st off of the first 2 ultrasounds.

Good luck!

its actually very common. i had 4 different due dates for my son. he didnt come on any of them because i had pre-eclampsia and had to have him 3 weeks early. dont let it stress you. baby will come when he/she is ready :)
