25 week update

So this pregnancy has just flown by.  I guess with it being my 4th and chasing after 3 other very active little boys it would.  So I went in last week for my 24 week appointment and she put in for me to get my glucose (fasting) done but I have been lazy and not in the mood to drive the 20 minutes to post before I have my morning coffee, draw my blood, eat and then go back 2 hours later to have the blood drawn again.  But D.L. has a Dr.'s apt on the 23rd so I will do it then.

As for Mr. Gabe, he is stretching out my uterus(if it wasn't stretched out enough)  at 24w1d my uterus was at 25w4d.  So my Dr went ahead and ran through what we will be doing over the rest of the pregnancy since the holidays are coming up.  She will do my Rho-gam at 28 weeks and start checking at 30 weeks.  She will start seeing me every 2 weeks at 30 weeks and do my strep B at 35.  If everything goes like it did with my other pregnancies she will go ahead and induce me somewhere 38w6d-39w2d whatever day she is on call that week.  She said that she is too scared that I will go into labor and not be able to make it to the hospital in time.  For those who weren't around when I had Noah I dilate but don't go into labor.  The day I had Noah I was 39w1d and was 5 cm with out having the 1st contraction.  So if I follow the same pattern and did by chance go into labor, which is possible since my husband will be in my bed and not in Iraq then I might not be able to make it to the hospital in time.

So if you made it this far and could make any sense out of my ramblings thank you.  Good luck to all of those ttc, recent new mommies, recent prego's.  For all of our mommies to angels please know I am thinking of you and you are in my prayers.

I know, I thought I was measuring big until I saw how big your boy was getting, wow 29weeks is what I thought I read.  Have they scheduled your growth ultrasound yet?

He was measuring between 29 and 30 weeks!   I think I'm gonna have a football player!   The ultrasound is scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving.  I can't wait to see my little man again.    Then the week after that I'm paying extra to have one of the 3D/4D ultrasounds done.   I've not had many utlrasounds this time around and it's killing me lol.

Hard to believe you're already at 25 weeks!  Glad to know that it sounds like from what you're saying that Kris will not be deployed this time and will get to be here for the birth.  That would be the most wonderful news!

So I take it you're showing since you say he's stretching out the uterus?  You wouldn't happen to have belly pics, now would you? hehe

Hope everything is good!  *hugs*
