I just wanted to take the time to congratulate everyone on the board and to try to give some hope to those who might be discouraged about getting pregnant/staying pregnant. I was told I would probably never have kids due to PCOS and now I am expecting a baby boy - Nolan - in late January and it's all because of the weight loss. In fact, we got pregnant while on the shot.  I ended up really sick and on a vent for 6 days after my Roux-en-Y after they knicked my trachea while intubating me, but it has all been worth it. Congratulations on your little one!  I am also due with a little boy at the end of January.  This will be post-op baby #2 for me.  I also have PCOS and was told that I'd not have kids without medical intervention.  RNY enabled me to have my little guy.

Good luck and I hope you have an uneventful remainder of your pregnancy.

Congratulations on conceiving despite odds against your favor! WLS can definitely improve fertility for some.

I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well and your baby boy is healthy.
