So...I went to the doctor today and we finally found the heartbeat via doppler(not just ultrasound).  I am bigger, so it took longer.  15wks, 1 day(via doc), 15 wks, 3 days(er ultrasound)....its like a fluttering feeling, but I wouldn't use that word.  But its an alien sensation...but I'm bigger still...like 235lbs.  Could I be feeling the baby?  HB was great 150-160 bpm.

sure. you could be feeling it at 15/16 weeks.  you'll know soon enough if its really baby.

I am 12w 3d and there are a few times in the last few days that I thought that I have felt something going on in there - especially when my bladder is full.

Glad to hear that the baby is doing well!

I've been feeling occasional feelings for the past 2 weeks. I just reached 15 weeks today and I definitely feel the baby moving and kicking. It's still pretty light, but feels a lot like almost a tickling sensation (with an occasional thump) in the same general area and has been occuring on and off all day long. It's so exciting! Oh, and I'm 230lbs still.

Yes it absolutely could be baby you are feeling!  I didn't feel it until 16-17 weeks with my first pregnancy, but I think that was because I didn't know what it was supposed to feel like, because I noticed it MUCH earlier with subsequent pregnancies...it feels almost like a little spasm or a blutterfly sensation in your tummy!!  It is so exciting once you are REALLY sure it is baby...and is even more terrific when you can lay on your back and watch your stomach moving all over the place...its like there is an alien in there...LOL

Enjoy these times...as they are the times I miss the most knowing that I am not going to have anymore babies.

It's not too early at all! I had the same questions when I started feeling the weird sensations around week 15. Not everyone believed me, even telling me I had gas, but you know! Congrats on feeling the baby moving! How exciting!

I started feeling my daughter around then and I was 400 lbs when I had her... now I am 11 weeks with twins and I swear I can feel there heart beats when I am relaxed and its quiet, it's like a weird throbbing. according to my period I am 14 weeks but according to my first  sono I am 11 weeks...but yes it is possible to feel the baby at that time everyone is different...
