No IVF This Month

A quick update.  After the missed miscarriage (Jul) and D&C (Aug), AF was right on schedule in Sep.  We were set to start the IVF meds with the Oct cycle but AF was weeks late and then sporadic.  I had the preliminary ultrasound and they found a "huge" ovarian cyst and very thick uterine lining.  So, I'm on a three-week cycle of birth control pills to hopefully shrink the cyst and bring on AF next week.  If all goes well, we'll do IVF with frozen embryos the second week of Dec (almost two years to the day that we underwent our first IVF procedure, which resulted in our previous baby boy).  After all this, I think this is a good sign...how it was meant to be!

You are very wise to have such an optimistic and realistic approach - kudos to you for finding peace in something that is out of your control.

The cyst sounds like it would be painful. Have you had any symptoms as a result? Other than AF being late.

Praying things move along as they should and that this December brings you a healthy pregnancy!

Other than missing AF, no symptoms at all.  That's a blessing, too, since I understand they can be quite painful.
