26 week appointment
the glucose test is faulty most of the time. I wouldn't stress about it. you might just pass the 3 hour fine.
also about measuring ahead...totally normal. again I wouldn't give it a second thought. I measured ahead with kaida for most of my pregnancy. at 37 weeks most of her measurements were 42 weeks. she was a nice 8 lbs 10 oz at 38 weeks 5 days when she was born.
sounds to me like you are doing fine!

Sorry about the glucose test Amy, hopefully all is well. I never had to do it, my dr and perinatologist just did not feel it would be accurate so I did the finger stick instead for 2 weeks, but lap band is probably different. Nonetheless, hope it works out. Best wishes to Hannah on her surgery. Emad had surgery at 6 months for his tongue tie and it was hard seeing him so small and in that situation but I knew it was best and better now when they are less likely to remember and kids this small are so resilient so she should bounce back quickly!
Congrats on a great appointment, but sorry about the GTT. I failed the first one when PG with my daughter, passed the 3-hr one with no problems. This was prior to WLS though. Hoping the results are just fine.
Poor Hannah! It did seem like she had a lot of strep bouts, but I didn't realize it was 5! My DS had ear tubes put in when he was 2 and it was a relatively easy surgery with amazing recovery. Kids that young are so resilient and I pray it will go quickly for you too, as it seems much tougher on the parents.
Keep us posted.
Hugs,

I failed the first test as well, but passed the 3-hour test. Take a book, it is a BORING 3 hours and they won't even let you go out and walk around. I really think the first one should be fasting, I bet we both would have passed it if they hadn't told us to eat before it.
