grinding teeth...

jayson has started doing this.. it sends chills down my spine.... how do i get him to stop this?   i cant take it

Hannah done this for a very short while.  If I remember correctly it was when she only had 4 teeth (two on top, two on bottom).   She stopped on her own. It was a terrible sound!  I didn't make a big deal out of it, because I was afraid she would do it just to get my attention.  I hope Jayson stops on his own too!

All three of mine did this and eventually grew out of it. My 4 year old still does it in his sleep. I asked the dentist about it and he said there is nothing you can do.  If he does it when he is older they will give him a mouth guard.
