sex drive

Okay ladies I know this has been asked before but WHEN did your sex drive come back??? Lucas is 12 weeks and I have ZERO desire! Luckily hubby is working a new job with lots of hours and hasn't really noticed and when he does he's too tired too!
But really I don't know how to get it back!

I remember getting my sex drive back before I had even fully healed from the episiotomy. I know it's different for everyone and in different situations so don't put too much pressure on yourself! You've got alot going on still.

Awww, Beth. I have had this problem in the past (nothing to do with after baby) but mine comes and goes. When I am pregnant I am a machine, and at this very time I have a drive but DH is out to sea. I seem to be less into it when I am depressed or anxious. Well someone gave the advice don't be anxious about not wanting it and try to relax and go with the flow.

i have always had a sex drive even as big as i am i still have time for it,lol

after i had my daughter after the bleeding stopped 2 weeks later it was on, but i wanted to do it before,lol

You are still breastfeeding, right?   I think that can affect your hormones and make your drive lower.  At least it did for me...not to mention being so tired that if I had a free mintue all I wanted to do was sleep!

yes I am breastfeeding and I was thinking that might be it, I am so thanful my hubby is exhausted, that helps me not feel bad.

Did you start any form of birth control? That can jack with your sex drive. We waited the full six weeks post partum. I got a depo shot on Friday and knocked the boots the next day as we celebrated our anniversary. That was the only positive sex experience I had the whole time I was on depo. I thought something was wrong with me because sex HURT. It felt like... pardon me for being so crude... there was a huge pinecone doing the work.

I figured out it was the depo because a week or so before I was due for my next s****** suddenly wasn't so painful.

I switched to good ole fashioned rubbers and stayed on them for 6 years.
