Emad's 2 year stats and Portraits (Pic Heavy)

Well...my baby...is not a baby...he is officially a toddler. And a growing one at that. We had his 2 year follow up and he is doing well developmentally, with his congnitive skills, etc. He was able to imitate drawing a circle (a not so perfect one) and also a straight line. He got his vaccines and will not need to be seen until his 3 year old appt unless we have concerns. I love his Pediatrician and he is so good with Emad. He checked his eyes as well...in the whites of Emad's eyes, since birth, he has has had these darkish gray spots, I always get asked what is wrong with his eyes...and really it is nothing but dark pigment in the sclera which is normal for kiddos with dark eyes...he was born with the color he has now and they have not  changed. They could fade, could not.  His mongolian spot (purple/bluish blemish on his bum) has also faded as they said it would.   He speaks in Arabic and English...with a cute lisp...and his growth stats are:

Weight: 28 lbs 1 oz  (birth was 6 lbz 7 oz) and is in the 51%
Height: 36 inches! (3 ft) (birth was 18 inches) and is in the 86% ...he started out in the 5%
Hubby was thrilled...I am 5ft 9...he is 5 ft 10...so probably gonna have a tall boy which is fine by us!

Here are his recent portraits, not pleased, but will have to do, we had to go two days in a row due to issues with the first, he is a wiggle worm so it was great to get what we did!
We are TTC #2, have been for a while, no luck with just basic meds like Metformin and Provera so will probably be seeing the RE in the near future and hopefully will have a new blessing soon God willing.

Awe !!!  How absolutely adorable!  He's such a big boy !  Very lean and tall....he looks like he'll be an athlete.

Awww...he is a handsome little guy!

I think he looks just like you.   So adorable!   It seems like just yesterday you were pregnant and now he's 2.
