I don't know if you're already talked to your DH or not...but just in case...
Since you may only still have computer access...go to the Red Cross website. They have a 'wellness check in' link where you can put your name as being OK so your DH can see that you're fine. Hopefully they're getting that info out to them also so they know to check.
Prayers for everyone effected by this senseless violence.

I have been on the phone with everyone since news broke. We just PCS'd (army term for moved) from there in June so most of our friends are still there and our old unit as well. Luckily I have been able to touch base with most of them, it is just freaking me out. I lived on base and my kids went to school on base as well. Hell 95% of what I did was on post. Please pray for everyone.

I thought of you immediately too....I am so sorry sweets.....this ha**** me really hard....we just celebrated the kickoff to Military Appreciation Month at work yesterday and I was standing very proud handing out information on how we are celebrating Veteran's Day next week, the Moment of Silence, etc.....I know this can and does happen all over....I just don't get it....it is double heartening when one of their leaders kills them on our own soil...the men and women who are getting ready to sacrifice their lives to protect US.....I don't get it....so uncomprehendable.....
When talking to Nate about it he just reminds me that people who have not been in the war do not understand what happens to your head....the sad part is that this Major was a Dr treating others to help with these types of diseases....he just got stationed to Ft Hood in July too....wow
Anyway, sorry for the vent...I just am glad you are okay and my prayers are constant with our men and women of the service....
