U/S and update Edit. Pics to profile
I had my perinatal visit today and had an u/s. My placenta is high, so the spotting was not from that. They are not sure why I had spotting over the weekend. They just told me to take it easy and keep an eye on it. I go back in 5 weeks and then once a month after that to watch the baby's growth. I am a little concerned because she said she wanted to check the baby's anatomy again in five weeks. Of course I was on the way home thinking what does that mean, did something look wrong? So I go to my regular OB on the 19th and I will ask about it then. It is probably just my pregnancy brain worry over nothing.
How do I insert a pic? I wanted to put my u/s pick in but I could not figure it out.
Edit: I was not able to get the pictures to post so they are uploaded to my profile.

Good luck figuring it out...
The baby's anatomy is like heart, lungs, gender...that good stuff. If there were concerns she/he would have had to of told you..so I think everything is all set!

Hey Emily.....
I had to keep going back to my specialist for several months in a row to get more pics....Nathan was not cooperating....I was fine with the extra pics too :) I was a little worried too but they reassured me that Nathan was just moving and not cooperating....my opinion is you should be fine :)
I use photobucket to do my pics...download them in there and click copy and then paste into here....I hope you can do it so we can see the pic :)
Hugs,
Ann

Very cute pics!
I had an ultra-sound every month with Cooper. And even though they only called the 20-week one the "bio-physical profile" EVERY month they looked at his heart , lungs, kidney, brain - the measured his leg bones and head circumfrance and checked everything out.
So I am sure they just want to be safe. If they had seen something they would have told you!
Congrats on everything looking good with the placenta, etc.

Another reason they may do multiple anatomy ultrasounds is because babies frequently are uncooperative or in a bad position to get pics of certain areas. When I went for my initial anatomy u/s they told me there were about 31 different pics they needed to get the complete list. With the three babies they ended up with 179 pics and STILL did not get everything they needed, but they were close. Also sometimes the baby just may not be quite big enough for them to get a clear pic and need to retry at a later time. Do not stress over it unless they tell you there is something to worry about. They will tell you right away that they have concerns about something, that further testing is needed, or different types of testing.
