Baby shower gifts/favors

My baby shower is the 14th and my best friend is planning it but she can't think of anything for raffle gifts. She did a give away where if you bring a bag of diapers you are entered to win a gift. The only thing i can think of is making a bunch of different cookies, candies, a coffee mug and different hot choc's. For the big gift that is. For the small give aways I was going to do baby bottles filled with candies. Any different ideas?
Thanks Jessica

You could make some useful bags up with things from the dollar store to keep things in budget.

Dish rag, pot holders, tea towels, spatula, etc.

Maybe note pads, pens and candles

You could make up some cute gift bags with useful inexpensive things real quick. Otherwise, I dunno.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I have been to showers where they give knick-knacks that go along with the season such as turkeys, pumpkins, scarecrows, etc for fall).  Since it is only a month before Christmas, you could give Christmas ornaments.  I have also been to showers where they give candles.  Like someone else mentioned, towels, dish clothes, place mats, photo frames, photo albums
I have also been to showers where they give little sample bottles of hand soaps, lotions, santitzers.  You could do small manicure sets or even a little spa basket.  I know that when my family gives showers, a lot of the time we hit up the dollar stores, clearance racks, discount stores to find a variety of cute, nice, yet cheap gifts.

I was just at a baby shower and the gifts were things like scent diffuser kits, lotions from bath and body works, plaques that had quotes like "love, family, friends ect..."  a GREAT place to get really inexpensive gifts is The Christmas Tree Shoppe.  They have TONSSSS of things at great prices, and there's not just x-mas stuff there!  good luck!

My mom got all the gifts at the Christmas Tree Shop - it is a great place and real cheap. For favors, she found this pregnant woman mold and made white chocolate lollipops wrapped in blue cellophane with white ribbon. This was the "door prize"...

For prizes, she got different things like lotions, candles, plaques, kitchen things, random things, etc. Good luck - I hope it turns out amazing for you!
