The condom broke ! Is it possible to share the love?

I am not drinking.  I just had while-I-should-have-been-working-sex and the condom broke.

I doubt I will get pregnant.  (what are the chances, really?)

BUT.... it made me panic.  How could I ever share my motherly love with someone other than Cooper ?  How could I give Cooper the time he deserves if I had another child?

I always imagined having at least two kids....until I had one.  Now I can't imagine sharing my heart....

Do you love the 2nd as much as the 1st?  Do you have time for them both?

The crazy thing is.... if we're going to have another we have to do it now.  Before my husband is taking a bunch more drugs.  Before he's on dialysis.  Because otherwise it will be (could be) 5-7 years before he's gotten a transplant and is "healthy" again.

Sorry for the ramble... I know you guys are the only ones who would understand.

Both my boys are condom break boys...hehe. Yes, you can love more than one. I totally understand about the health issues stuff.

After I had my first child I thought I wanted more and when I got pregnant with my second, I thought I had ruined his little world. Then my good friend told me to knock that **** off. And she was right. I now have a fourth on the way and I love them all so much and can't imagine my life with out them. Plus being close together they love each other so much and they do not remember life with out the other. My four year old cries when his bubba and sissy leave to go some where. It is not because he wants to go but it is because he misses them and when they return home even if they have only been gone 20 minutes he hugs them both.  It is really great and they are experiencing more love than I could give them alone they have the love of their siblings. Plus when they are older and mad at you, they can talk bad about you to each other. I have a 6 siblings and when are parents are driving us crazy we commiserate together.

I feared the exact same thing when I was pregnant with my 2nd. But as soon as you see them, your heart gets bigger. Believe me, your heart can stretch and stretch!

Of course.

In fact, when Kaitlin is acting like she has cloven hooves, I sometimes love him more!

(just kidding)

(maybe)

(it depends on the day)

(sometimes he has the cloven hooves -- I mean, he does throw things at my head..)

I had the same question months before Savannah was born and everyone told me you love them all and you find time. Well it is true, I can't imagine not having Vannie and she is only 3 months old. I actually like having them only 16 months apart because it WILL get easier, I am convinced. It is a little difficult in the beginning but everyday gets better. I love them both and thought it would take away from Nylah but it's fine and Nylah calls her my sister Vannah. I LOVE IT! And I been doing it alone for a month with DH out to sea, it is tiring because I work full time but when we get home its a nice evening with my girls.
