I saw the gyno/ob yesterday

She said I could be out of wack if my thyroid is off. So she tested that and my progesterone and something that starts with an "L". I get to go in for an U/S today to check out my uterine lining and all that good stuff.

I do have good news. I will get a referral for a specialist in a few months since I had PCOS and since I got pg the first month and now nothing. Oh that and I am old! LOL

I also have celebrated and cried with everyone with the news here. I just haven't really felt up to responding. I am just semi-lurking again.

Kathy... I am glad you get to see a specialist. I too pray for your sticky baby bean very soon. Hang in there. Oh, and the term "advanced maternal age" should just not be allowed in my opinion! Shari

Thanks! I hate that I am "old" I almost cried when I filled out the paperwork when I was pregnant and I had to admit I was over 35. I was like WTHeck! I am NOT old.

I'm probably the oldest 'advanced maternal age' club member here...and the last dr I talked to, I told him I didn't want to hear about my age...and that I was tempted to whack the next dr who mentioned it.  He told me it was dully noted...and did not mention it.

Re the uterine lining...that is a simple u/s.  I have problems with that - they think that's what's caused my mc's...or at least some of them.  I now take estrogen starting on cd3, then take progesterone after ovulation...and now my uterine lining looks good on the u/s...so it's just a matter of getting pg again and seeing if that works.

Good luck! I hate that they consider me old. My lining looked good. I am just gonna have fun jumping the hubby for the next two months and not worry about it.
