I know I posted this a few months ago but I cannot remember everything everyone has tried to get rid of little baby bumps on Nathan's face....he has some red little bumps around his eyes now too....not sure if it is a food allergy but he has not had much different...and it is just on his face.....

His face has had the little bumps for awhile now....I have tried corisone (approved from pedi), mustela, eucerin.....any other thoughts? A lady at daycare said she uses Coconut Oil on her son's face with eczema (sp)....any thoughts would be appreciated....I am calling the pedi in the am but thought I would check with you all too....

TIA!

The only thing I've ever used on Hannah is Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer.   I hope the rash goes away soon!

One more vote for Cetaphil.  It's the best stuff for Everett's cheeks (which are dry and red from all the drool/teething), and it's the only thing that works for my VERY dry skin in Winter.  It's also approved by our pediatrician - she recommends the cream type that's in a tub as opposed to the lotion that's a pump form.

Hopefully the bumps are just skin nuisances that will go away on their own.

I use auquaphor, which is also along the same lines as eucerin.  Otherwise, if it is yeast...might need something with nystatin in it or a antifungal.

This might help you, this might not...I hope it does.

I never read your previous post so I am not sure exactly what kind of bumps your talking about. What I do know is I have pretty bad eczema and have for the majority of my life. I use this cream called elidel...I am not sure though if they would prescribe it since Nathan is so young. But I did call my mom and ask her what she used before when I was younger and she said a mild non fragrance soap, non fragrance lotion, and when she would notice flare ups she would use vitamin e oil mixed with calomin lotion (the stuff for chicken pox) to keep the skin moist and reduce my itching.

Hope that helped!

WOW....thank you so much for Simone....your thoughtfulness to call your mom means a lot to me....I am going to try it all....I will ask my pedi about elidel too....I love the home remedy too....like anytime Nathan gets a diaper rash (which is pretty rare lately) I use corn starch (the kind in the yellow tub from the food area)...I learned that home remedy from a lady at daycare and it is awesome.....so home remedies work....thanks again...that was so sweet of you!
