Vent---LONG

I figured why not come here and vent! This is day 30 of bleeding....yes it sucks. The RE's office said it could be anywhere from a few more days to a few more weeks. My numbers are dropping which is great after the chemo shot.

Well, the new issue is I have a mass/cyst on my jaw. When I got the chemo shot they said I could have ulcers in my mouth as a side effect. Well, I got them and did the warm sal****er mouth rinse to help. Well, now I have this cyst thing. It could be a swollen/infected lymp node or a saliva gland blockage as common with chemo !

So, I have sucked on lemons try to see if that would help...no! I called the densist asking if I should come to them or PCP. They say come there. The dentist feels it and says yes you have a lump go to the doctor that gave you chemo. Called RE they said no relation call PCP. PCP has no appointments until Thursday or Monday. So, I wasted two hours of my day for a 2 minute hand in my mouth and on my face to find out nothing. And, it hurts like HE**!

I have never been thru anything like that so I can not relate, but I can tell you that I am very sorry that you are in pain, and I hope that it lesses soon, and I hope the bleeding stops!

Traci - I am so sorry to hear that you are going through all that. my Mom had terrible mouth sores from the chemo when she went through it last year. She did the warm sal****er washes frequently and used ambesol to rub on it for temporary relief. I think that the Dr gave her an RX for something too.

I know Julie I am starting to feel like a high maintenance chick over here. I mean it is bad enough to deal with a ectopic pregnancy but geez do I have to have every freaking thing :)
