Sex

Although I was hoping for an all natural, med free birth I ended up with a c-section five weeks ago. My bleeding stopped after about three weeks. My question is: When can we resume having sex? I kinda regret not giving it up more at the end of my pregnancy LoL Any thoughts?

I got the go-ahead at my 6 week appointment.  However, I want to think I tried at 5 weeks and it was painful - even though I had a c-section.

i didnt have a c section however when the bleeding stopped istarted at 2 weeks :)

I also got the go ahead at six weeks! The first time was a little painful, but after that everything was fine.

My baby was born 3 weeks ago by a vaginal birth and my husband and I started having sex at 2 weeks (as soon as the bleeding stopped).  The first time walked a fine line of extreme discomfort ( I did not enjoy it much).  A few days later we tried it again with lots of lube and it was better.  It does get easier every time but it is now more comforting at 3 weeks out than at 2. 

Try it, let your body be the judge.  If it hurts stop and try later.
