Need guidance and encouragement, please. (kinda wordy)
Thank you everyone who posted. I appreciate you all so much.
I haven't gone to the E.R. - slept alot yesterday. Still bleeding. It's not enough soil a panty liner but my tissue is full when I wipe - isn't that odd? And it's still bright red blood. No more clotting since that first time.
As soon as I can i'm calling my OB and get in this morning whether they want to see me or not.
I'll update as soon as I can ...

I had significant spotting right through the first trimester with my now 6 1/2 year old daughter. My gp got me in to see my ob early because of it. Of course the ob cannot do anything to prevent a miscarriage, but he did order an aerly ultrasound and three lots of blood tests spaced every two days to test levels of the pregnancy hormone (hcg I think). In early pregnancy hcg levels should double, approximately, every 48 hours. This can be a positive reinforcement of your pregnancy, but is still not foolproof as lower levels can still maintain a healthy pregnancy and higher levels can still miscarry.
I sympathise with you, bleeding when pregnant is stressful, I cried every night for two weeks as I was convinced I was miscarrying. As luck would have it, that was not to be and I have a gorgeous healthy child to show for it. Best of luck!!!
