Nathan fell out of his crib....
i think hes fine.... jayson did a back flip off my bed (about 3.5 feet) and landed on his back.. scared the hell out of him and my self.. i felt so guilty... if you think hes going to do it agian you can put pillows under his crib in his fall out range.... poor child... pink bathtubs and falling out of cribs...
I know....aren't I a horrible mom...pink tubs and falling out of the crib...lol....I was actually talking to Nate on the phone and was washing my hands in the kitchen when I heard it and Nate started asking me over and over "Why was he on the bed unattended?" and I finally yelled "He was in the crib, hello!"......but he is on the lowest level of the crib now.....almost looks like he is sleeping on the floor...and making the bed will be hell now....lol....oh well.....
Isn't it funny how we can interpret those different screams? I'm sure Nathan's OK...you checked him out pretty thoroughly. I'd guess the wanting to sleep was some sort of reaction to the shock of the fall - sort of the after effects of an adreniline rush. Accidents will happen...don't beat yourself up.

You did all the right things. It was an accident and more than likely it will happen again. Maybe not falling out of the crib, but he will take flying leaps off the couch, back flips off tables, rolls down hills, etc.
He's a boy! LOL Although I think Dylan will be right there with him because she's the little trouble maker.
Kids are pretty resilient. It's us parents that are the weaker ones. ; ) Nate's going to be just fine.
You can always invest in a crib tent, but my husband calls that baby jail. Some parents swear by them though.

Thanks for the reassurance Julie.....yea, likely he will be soaring all over the place soon.....it just scared the CRAP out of me...he is doing pretty good today....thank God!
Nate actually mentioned getting Nathan a crib tent.....I am not sure we will go that route....unless it gets worse...he is sitting pretty low in the crib now....almost to the floor....but if he scales the crib it will be a harder fall....oh boys!!!! (and Dylan...lol)

Oh poor Nathan! He has had a rough week! Like All the PP...sounds like you did the right things! Aethyn hits his head all the time now that he is walking...he just get so excited -then he falls! We have to have him WAY down low also! He has never fallen out but there was a close call before we moved it lower! They give you no warning...one day they are fine at that height then the next they are able to climb out! Glad he seems OK though! I am thinking of you guys!
