Prayers and Best Wishes Paula
Hey Lady...
Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you and I hope and pray all goes well and smoothly....I am sure you are just ecstatic to meet your little man tomorrow....I am so excited for you!!! Your story has been fun to follow...and I cannot wait to see pics and hear the story.....
I remember the night before my c-section too...I am not sure I slept too much...I was so excited....
Just a few last tips (from my perspective):
- Don't bring all of yoru crap in when you check in. Let your hubby go get later....I made Nate carry all of our crap in and they laughed at me and made Nate take it back since we were going to OR and not our room yet...lol
- The second night in the hospital I had MAJOR gas pains...it was horrible...make sure you take care of this and ask for help if needed....it hurt so bad....not trying to scare you....but this is a risk I am told with c-sections.
- If your hospital gives out stuff to take home, TAKE IT....we were taking as many extra bottles, blankies and onesies and diapers as they would allow us to take...lol...
- Remember, this is going to be MAJOR emotional (well, it was for me)....be patient with your hubby, etc. And it is OKAY to cry....allow yourself to....I loved seeing Nate's glasses get all fogged up when we first heard Nathan cry....it was amazing....
- Know you may make mistakes....we learn and learn and learn something new everyday....
- Not every baby is the same....so, be a mom to your son in your own way....yes it is good to get advice and help, but you are his MOMMY!
Okay...I did not intend for this to be that long....lol...take care and be blessed!
