My Kiddos (edited to add pic)

My kiddos had their yearly checkup this morning. My son who just turned 5 in September is in the 95 percentile in his height and weight. He is 48 inches tall and weighs 60 lbs. He is my "Lil Man" and getting so big. He got all of his "Kindergarten" shots today even though he technically doesn't start until next year because of his late September birthday. My daughter just turned 1 on October 23rd. She is in the 90 percentile with her height and 70 percentile with her weight. She is 30.5 inches tall and weighs 22 lbs. She is walking all over the place. She is strictly on table foods, off formula and on 2% milk. She is off the bottle and is using sippy cups. There are a few words she can say, but still babbles like theres no tomorrow.

Both kids are doing great and growing like weeds! Btw, I did a thread yesterday about my daughter having a viral infection according to the after hours doctor at the clinic. I talked to her Ped. this morning and he thinks it was more of the flu, but yet no one tested her for it. Maybe they stopped testing for it and are now just treating the symptoms? I'm not sure, but her fever is still elevated and she has 2 ear infections. So, he gave us an antibiotic for the next 10 days. Once she gets well, I'll take her back for her 1 year shot and the flu shot. Ped wouldn't give them to her today seems how she has been ill.

Anyway, that is an update on my 2 kiddos! They are doing well... gosh this year has gone by fast! :(

Sounds like both kiddos are doing great! Your daughter is beautiful and looks like she had fun with that cake!! Here's to hoping that she is all better very very soon
