I am not sick (yet) but I just found out today that a whole family I work with (I am a case manager) has been diagnosed with the swine flu....I freaked immediately as I have been around them in the last week or so, so I called my OB. She is putting me on tamaflu and then I will get my H1N1 and flu shot next friday when I am about to be 9 weeks

Needless to say, I am freaking out about this and just want nothing but health for me and my baby...

I am staying home for the rest of the week to rest and hopefully avoid any flu coming on...I hate the constant worry that pregnancy brings on, but its motherly instinct comnig on early I guess.

My oldest son was diagnosed with H1N1 a couple weeks ago. My OB put me on Tamiflu right away as a preventative.  So far so good. None of the rest of us have had any symtoms.  Good luck and rest up!

Good luck!  I hope you can stay in the clear!  Every week I have to go to the ER to check in for my Non-Stress Test and wait there to be called. I think it's absurd that pregnant women have to endure that.

Again, I hope you don't get it!!  Good luck to you!
