Hi everybody, I've missed you so...

Here it is:

Tori Elizabeth born 9/22/09 at 6:12pm at 27wks 6d weighing in at 490g's(1#) length 11.5inches.

What a whirlwind the past month plus has been. She's doing great! I'm so proud that my daughter is so strong and has made it this far. Her due date was 12/16 and she is expected to come home between thanksgiving and christmas. God has truley blessed my husband and I. He's made us stronger...He really has blessed our lives with this little girl.

Today Tori is weighing in at 780g's (1lb, 11oz's), she is 5wks and 1 day old, off of her major machinary, and is blossoming into a lovely little lady.

I'm nearly curious if my rny bypass had anything to do with the gestation of my children. My son was born at 24weeks and was a blessing to us for the week he was with us.

Any thoughts?

Liz

Congrats on your baby girl!  I am so glad that she is thriving every day.  :-)
I don't think the surgery had any thing to do with the gestation of your children.  It might just be that your body needs a bit more medical intervention to carry to term.

Congrats Liz!

I don't think your surgery had anything to do with your pregnancies.

I was born at 24 weeks also...Weighing in at 2lbs 4oz.

I will keep your family in my prayers.

I am sure happy she sounds like she is doing great!! I dont think surgery has anything to do with it either. Seems I ee a lot of people go to term or past on here. My last was born at 35 weeks and had a lot of breathing issues but that was before surgery. Just think its our bodies and maybe you have a need for more help during pregnancy. I hope she just keeps getting better!!!

Sometimes, the biggest blessings come in the smallest packages.  Congrats.  I'm glad Miss Tori's doing so well...and pray that she continues growing like she has so far so she can be home to enjoy the holidays with you and your husband.  Post some pictures when you can.

I'm glad that Tori is doing so well.  I've thought of you several times since your last post and was wondering how you were doing.  It sounds like your little girl is doing well.  Before you know it she will be home with you.
