i watched a few of them. at first i was amazed then i realized stupidity. they would have symptoms but blame it on other stuff like food poisoning, stress. even if you are preg you dont have to have any symptoms so the little bit of symptoms that they had, they basically ignored until the last minute.

I never believed these types of mysteries of not know you are pregnant ...until my sister was nearly 5 1/2 months before she found out her second child was coming.  She was on the patch (but probably a lil heavy for the patch) and she still continued to have her period everyday...never gained a pound, etc...she realized it the day she realized milk was coming and she knew of only one reason for that.  I will never forget what she said to the dr. when he told her her baby was due in three months...."No way, I am just newly pregnant; you must be wrong"....he was born a week before the date the dr. gave her......

So now I believe these things do happen....no way I wouldn't know, but guess it does truely happen....

The only way I could really fathom that is if it was their first pregnancy.  Maybe they had no idea what the symptoms would be.  But feeling something moving around would make me scared or think I had really bad gas or that my bowels are really acting up at that time.  Maybe they had no health ins and didn't think about going to the doctor or clinic for a check-up.  That happens more than you think, no ins equals at home treatments or just ignoring the symptoms.

After the first pregnancy, and especially with multiples, how could there be no symptoms (esp movement)?  Is the baby okay?  i would wonder.

Let me start off by saying I knew I was pregnant 5 years ago with my DD but...I weighed 330 when I delivered at 33 weeks.  She was 5lbs 6oz and 17 inches long.  I never once felt her move or had any pregnancy symptoms except missing my period.  I gained 7 lbs total and, even though I still find it difficult to believe, if I had been younger/stupider/less aware, I may not have realized what was going on.

Its hard to believe now (being 25 weeks pregnant) since this kid never stops moving.

A friend of mine didn't know she was pregnant until she was 6 months! She was very large and even though she was trying to lose weight, it just wouldn't budge. She was having carpal tunnel and shortness of breath and kept going to the doctor to try to figure out what was going on. It was her 18 year old daughter who kept saying "Mom, your shape looks slightly different" so she finally peed on a stick! It was an amazing blessing for them as they had tried for many years to have a second child...they just wish the girls had been a bit closer in age!

I can only believe it soo much...

My mom was 5.5 months when she found out she was pregnant with my Little Brother (we are 18 years apart). She had a period until her 7th month. She was on the pill. The only reason we found out she was pregnant was because I forced her to go to the ER because she was having dizzy spells... and her family doc kept saying it was Vertigo... WRONG she was pregnant.

He came out healthy and happy. 9lbs.

However by 6.5 months she would of noticed because she got huge!!! LOL

My husband always knows when I'm watching that show because half the time I'm yelling at the tv calling the women stupid.

Especially the episode where the lady has a turd baby and then hears crying and asks her husband "do you hear crying" and see her newborn in the toilet and then picks the baby up saying "I love you turd baby!  I love you!"  Ok.. she didn't say turd baby, but that's how I retell the story!
