I didn't know I was pregnant (the show)

Has anyone watched this show?   I'm just amazed that someone can carry a baby for 9 months and have NO CLUE they are pregnant.    I can understand not knowing for the first 4 months or so if you haven't missed your period (or if they are always irregular).   I've not gained any weight and I still fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes (I'm almost 25 weeks pregnant), so it's not obvious in looks that I'm pregnant.  I still know that I'm pregnant though!  How do you not wonder what is going on with the movement in your abdomen?   Most of the women say they didn't feel ANY movement.  I find that hard to believe!
This baby doesn't kick much at all, but he does kick.   And when he does kick my whole belly moves.   I just don't understand how you can be that out of tune with your body to not know that you 7,8, or 9 months pregnant!   I think these women are in denial or have an extremely low IQ.
Sorry I guess I'm ranting!

Amy,I  watch the show in complete amazement too.... I can not believe not knowing your pregnant, such a life changing amazing event in your life and completely unaware....

I havent been far enough along yet to be in the seriously you would have to know by now category but still it amazes me that someone could be 9 months pregnant in labor and have no clue shes pregnant, and most of them already have kids!

I've never seen the show, but I don't understand it either.  I mean, even if you didn't know you were pregnant, how could you take a couple hits/kicks to the cervix and not take yourself to the doctor wondering what was going on?  Those punches/kicks hurt and if I ever felt anything like that when not carrying a baby I would think something was seriously wrong with me!!  "Doctor, I'm having sharp shooting pains in my hoohah - what gives?"

I'm with you - I think these women are either very stupid or very good at lying to themselves.

You would think that when the braxton hicks started that they would think they have a tumor or something.    I work with a guy whose wife didn't know she was pregnant and called him crying thinking she had a abdominal tumor (she was a breast cancer survivior).    Come to find out she was 13 or 14 weeks pregnant and their baby was only about 5 months old.  At least she was smart enough to know that something was "off".

You know, I never had Braxton Hicks with either of my boys.  I kept waiting for them and thinking something was wrong with me because I didn't feel them, but they never showed up!

That's funny about the tumor...I bet she was so relieved when it was just a little baby in there!!!

Funny you said this cause two weeks ago I was sent to L&D for observation and a lady came in pushing from ER and told everyone she did not know she was pregnant till her water broke a few hours before. Within 2 minutes of being put on the bed the baby was out. She said she had no clue. Even went to doctor about weight gain and they checked her thyroid and put her on meds for that. Cant imagine that at all. She was not young and she also had a 9 year old daughter already. I was like whatever. What made me more angry was as I was listening in on the conversation(not like I had a choice they were sitting right next me) she said her husband was coming back home from Iraq in 10 days and that he had come home in March for 2 weeks mid-tour. Well I got pregnant in March. NO WAY thats her husbands baby. She was already pregnant when he was visting. Noone else said anything though. Baby weighed 7 13 and 21 inches long. COME ON!!!!! How do you not know? Not suspect? I was so angry and then with the dates and all I felt sorry for the husband coming home cause now no matter what thats his responsibilty. I guess I am mean for thinking that.
I don****ch the show though because it does frustrate me when I hear about those stories. Thats bad!!!

I don't get it either. I was really floored when I caught the episode this weekend about the lady who already had one and then proceeded to give birth to twin girls on the toilet, and had NO clue.
