34 week appt today

Today was a busy day!!  Had my NST at 11am, my last ultrasound at 1pm, and my OB appt at 2pm.  The girls are measuring in at 5 lbs 8 oz, and 5 lbs 10 oz.  Apparently I grow 'em big they say.  The ultrasound tech said "just give em 12 days and we'll be happy!!"  and then my OB said "Give us 2-3 weeks and I'll be happy!"  Ugh.  LOL.  Apparently he's never been pregnant with twins before!  I'm kidding.  I know they need to bake as long as possible.

No scheduled c-section.  Since I HAVE to have one, I wanted to schedule it but he said he wouldn't schedule it until 39 weeks and it would be pointless because I'd never make it that far.  Well, now he done did it...these girls are going to prove him wrong.  I just know it!!  

As for me, I feel like complete poo.  I am swollen.  I am itchy beyond belief.  I am covered in NEW stretchmarks. I am tired.  I am contracting like mad.  I am on bedrest.  And I've gained 42 lbs. Even my big maternity clothes are struggling to fit me anymore.

But on a brighter side, we SORTA settled on names.  If you haven't noticed my siggy not having Lavern and Shirley on it for a good few weeks now, we decided on:

Clara and Zoey
- or -
Clara and Chloe

Please feel free to throw your vote in!  Next...deciding middle names.  LOL

The end is getting close.  It won't be long now but considering how you feel, I know you are probably thinking it feels like an eternity.  I hope you can find some comfort in these next few weeks.  Good luck!

Those are some big babies!! But I'm sure cooking them is a good idea ;) I love Clara and Chloe...Claira is on our short list of girl names. We like Nora too!

My husband really wants Clara.  I wanted Zoey but then a friend said "hey, what about clara and CHLOE?"  So, now we are tossing THAT around!  It'll never end...not till they are born.  LOL! 

And Nora is such a pretty name!!  I love it!

those are some big babies mine are 4lb.8oz and 3lb.15oz, i also went today however i do have a csection date of 12/4 at 39 weeks but i have only gained 20-25lbs maybe thats y mine are smaller?

Hey!  I found a few boy bibs and towels that were in good condition if you want them!  Let me know and PM me your address and I'll see if I can sneak out to the post office.  

Your twins are so tiny!  Mine are in the 53rd and 55th percentile.  So not too bad!

Thank you!  I hope that's still the case after they are born...my patience is wearing thin with the boys...I can only imagine how it will be with two more added to the mix!   LOL!
