Is it me or would this irk you?

Ummm I totally see where you are coming from. I would've been ticked to the max and believe me, they would have known it. They may be getting caught up in the fact that it is her first, but I don't see it has an excuse. You are going through things too, your still going to have bad days and need someone to talk to, you can still have pregnancy scares (hopefully you won't), and you need to be cooed over too. I hope they realize what they are doing..and soon.

BTW..how are you feeling? Everything coming along great? Did you get your problem worked out about the whose going to watch the little ones if you go into labor before your relief team arrives?

I think we are going to have Sarge our 90 pound german shepherd/bull mastiff mix watch them.  LOL 

We still have no backup at this point.   My husbands niece has offered to help which is fantastic, but she's 3 hours away. 

LOL That could work. That was sweet of her to offer. I really hope you can figure something out though and soon. I understand the stress though. My worry is what if I go into labor at school (I am out of state)..then what? Oh well, I have time.

I would be upset too!! People just don't think! I've been having a bit of a hard time too. My brother is expecting his first baby....and they are due 2 weeks after I was to have my baby that ended in miscarriage. I'm SO excited to be a auntie...but it's still really hard to see her baby kicking now and her belly getting big.

Yeah, I would've been bothered too and probably would have said something like "I'm feeling great too, thanks for asking". But then again, I'm sarcastic and snarky these days....

And though you are hurt by it, it really is the small stuff.  I am sure they didn't intentionally try to hurt your feelings.  They just may have been caught up in it being her first.  That's all.  You are healthy, pregnant, with beautiful children and another on the way.  This, in the grand scheme of life is but a tiny little thing.

Don't be upset with me for not seeing you eye to eye on this one (as you know we usually do)...but perhaps just a different perspective!

My feelings would have been hurt too....I am kind of going through the same type of thing with my BFFs....they have come to see Nathan ONCE since he has been born...and I went to TX once....they both have been promising to come visit and I have given up...I have flown back to go to birthdays for them and their kids (even went to Vegas for one of them a few years ago)....I was just hoping maybe they would come for Nathan's birthday party....one already declined the evite...but the other one called tonight and said she is very very confident she will be here....I guess I have just realized I cannot stress and quit getting my feelings hurt...and never ever stop being supportive to them and loving them....it will all come back to me one day....

Anyway, come to us for ALL of the support and love and oogling.....we love ya man....but dangit, post more pics :)
