Faint line on rite aide pregnancy test
Hi,
New to the board and did OPK's this month...I am 10DPO and last night I got a faint positive on a Rite Aide pregnancy test. When I bought them I didn't realize they were blue ones..I have heard that the blue ones give false positives...Last night was lighter than this morning and came up right away....this mornings is light blue and thick but definately not as dark as the control....Do you guys think they are accurate?? Or should I go out and get another brand???
My first daughter was concieved after 7 years of trying with IVF(had male factor now new husband) and never ever seeing a line on a test in my life exect when pg with her.....
Thanks for your advice,
Bridgette

Thanks so much for your advice....I think I will wait till monday and take a digital with my FMU...I'm just amazed that this is our 2nd month of doing OPKs and I may have worked.....But I was 150lbs heavier when trying to get pg with Catie....Amazing
I have no real symptoms this time...some bad cramping since friday, maybe some low back pain and very tired (not unusual for me low iron)...

even though I hate blue dye tests, I'd probably trust 2.
digitals may or may not pick up enough hormone today so do not be discouraged if it were to be negative. I had faint positives for 2 days prior to getting a pos. on a digital this time.
hugs!

I think you're preggo!
I know blue dyes are some times iffy, but the only ones that I've heard horrible things about are the Target brand blue dyes, they give actual, genuine false positives on a regular basis.
I would double check but congrats!!

I will say congrats and welcome to the club. I tested first with the Rite Aid test. Twice. And those suckers of lines popped up before I could even finish peeing..both times. Scared me cause I thought it meant I was further along but I wasn't. After the Rite Aid test I got the doctor to do one. Guess what...I'm still pregnant lol.
