Daycare Woes/Vent of the Day
Nathan was playing with my shoes yesterday after he pulled his socks off too...I went and got him some more socks (longer bigger ones) and I warned him about getting him some tights...he just smiled......I laugh when he tries to take his pj feet jammies off....he tries so hard!!!!!

I'm assuming the smiling little baby in your avatar is your son. When my DD was little, up until she was between 18-24 months, we kept her in a state licensed at-home daycare. It was wonderful. At home daycares seem (IMO) more equipped to take care of babies and small toddlers since they require so much personalized attention and usually home daycares only keep a handful of kids.
Here's the GA website to find state certified/licensed home daycare providers:
http://decal.ga.gov/ProviderSearch/SiteSearch.aspx?childcare =y&newsearch=y
The state has strict policies and does in home checks regularly. You can see each provider's report online. They have the same if not more strict regulations for at home daycares vs. facilities.
Good luck in finding a new daycare/sitter! It's so tough! Just make sure to ask tons of questions. As my MIL told me, go with your gut. There's tons of options, even if it requires a little driving or a little extra $$. Oh and BTW- places like Goddard, Primrose, Creme de la Creme, etc. are sometimes no better than any other daycare.
