Surgeon says to keep trying to lose weight
My doctor told me to go see my NUT and until then they told me to do 1300-1400 cals, but then I found out I am having twins... So I uped it another 300 so I was doing 1600 until I seen my Nut...on Monday she calculated cording to my weight and she told me I have to try and get in 3000 I think shes crazy automatically... But she wants me to stop losing weight because I have lost 30+ lbs in the last 6 weeks ... She told me not to could my cals, and do my best... but my weight loss should come to a stand still... I know everyone is different with the cals. it all depends on your weight and stuff also i see u had lap band and that changes things to I am sure.. I dont think I helped much but see a nut and a lot of the ladys on here were right... good luck..

So eat up, and make sure you take all of your vitamins, those babies will take everything they need and leave you with NOTHING LOL
Fiber One yogurt 50 calories 5 grams of fiber.
Fiber One bars 150 calories 9 grams of fiber.
Fruit but not fruit juice. Right now Grapefruit is starting its season and it is great. Apples are fresh right now too and dirt cheap. You WILL not gain wait eating fruit and your baby will love it.
I understand that you don't want to increase your carbs too much. I eat twice as many carbs as protein a day and eat 1400 calories a day but I exercise. I've managed to lose 70+ pounds in 8 months. You can easily maintain or gain within 25 (which will all come off) by eating healthy and doing light exercise. Carbs really are not the enemy and I believe that surgeons need to get out of that mentallity. Maybe for the first 6 months when it is hard to eat too many calories but it isn't realistic to think that you will spend a lifetime eating protein and vegetables. It isn't even healthy. Good luck!
Also, something to consider. The baby will most likely take what it needs from you...but you could definitely suffer from deficiencies. Yes, you do have a fat store, and stores of vitamins...but those can quickly decline in pregnancy. I am 4 years post op and during this pg have battled low d, low iron, low b-12 and diabetes, because our hormone balance changes so much during pg...which were normal pre pregnancy. It will be important to have levels drawn regularly. I think you are a bander so might not have the same malabsorbtion issues, but better safe than sorry. I get tested once a month and adjust my meds accordingly. Good luck. Shari
