Hi girls. Had some computer problems last week...and have been pretty ill this week with bronchitis and ear problems, so haven't been on much. Looking forward to your updates, and hopefully some BFP's!!!

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

Well, I am on hold for two months (but please leave me on the list). Once the ectopic clears up, I will have the dye tube test with the next cycle. Then, the following cycle I will try again with IUI.

So, it looks like January 2010 will be my time to try for a new years resolution!

Hey Everyone,

After a long 47 day cycle AF finally arrived.  I did O this month but not until cd30 (so the doc informed me today after viewing my chart) so the soy isoflavones worked for Ovulation but not soon enough.  Anyway got my script filled for my round of clomid (missed last round as doc was on holidays that is why I tried the soy route) and ready to proceed.  Keeping my fingers crossed this cycle, having a good feeling, or maybe just thinking positively for a change...lol.  I am cd2 right now and waiting to see what happens......Congrats to those baking, Dust to those ttc, and Hugs to those needing the comfort.

Still patiently waiting here.  Hopefully I'll see AF in a week or so then we'll be back at it again.  Hubby is already asking when we get to try.  LOL, told him we can practice anytime, and I'll let him know when practicing switches to trying.

Baby dust to all!!!

I am on CD 8 guess I will start OPKS on the 12th and BD from CD11 every other day through CD 21 - sound like a good plan for someone who isn't charting or anything? :) Not being totally intense about it  - just figure we will be casual until she is about 10 months then it is GAME ON! :)

Cycles have shifted from 28 to 29 days after having Bella :)
